Dansela

Dansela is a most common word which comes with vesak day. Vesak is a day when the Buddhist celebrate Lord  Buddha's Birth, Enlightenment and Death. With Lanterns & Pandals Dansela also playing a major role on the vesak day. 

Those days no transport facilities as we have now. People used to travel by walking or by carts most of th time.It makes people tired. Because of that in the roads some used to give drinks or something to eat to take away the tiredness. As per my knowledge this is how the concept of Dansela derived. 

That practice only still followed by the people. Vesak days every where we can see so many dansel such as rice, drinks, biscuit, ice cream, coffee, etc, etc. Thsese are the most common once where we can see every year. 

But this time i got to know a different type of dansela & also which is very meaningful. Indeed should appreciate the person who had a thought to give such a dansela. This different dansela is from Badulla - Ridhimaaliyedda. 

All must be wondering what is this dansela. But we cannot easily guess it. That is Kerosene oil Dansela. As per the article which i read a business man doing this dansela for the sixth time for the rural area Kuruvithenna which does not have electricity. The person who did this wonderful thing is Thissa Hewawasam. 

I am not telling any wrong to other type of Dansela. But most of the time we go to such dansela not because of we did not have anything to eat. Just for fun or for a change. But this persons activity can fulfill a Real need of a person. We should hats off to such people.

One of my favorite movie character

While watching movies we can come across so many interesting characters which we like. In those some we will forget after few days. But some characters which will be in our mind always.

Today i thought to write about one of that kind of character which i like always. I think i watched this movie almost 10 years back. I have watched so many movies after that. But still from the day i watched that movie i used to like that particular character. This will not change.

This is non other than the character which is played by Ajay Devgan as "Vanjaj" in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. I'm sure in reality there will be very very less people like that. may be we can count if there is.

What is there that much in that character? If we just see the movie & the character its one of the same love story with a sort of same ending which all the movies have. But if we go deep in to "Vanraj" character, can see the difference in that.

I will just write here the summary of the Ajay Devgan's character. In that he will get marry to Ishwarya Rai by a proposal. But he used to like her a lot. After marriage only he will get to know that she had an affair before & still she is loving & thinking about him & not Ajay. He is getting to know that Ish is not happy with him & she is married him because of her parents forced. Since that he is deciding to find & make together Ish & her boyfriend who is already left india & went to Italy coz of the Ish's family request.

Ajay's father knows he is loving Ish. After getting to know the decision of Ajay that dad don't scold like others. he will tell one word. "So far you used to loose all your cases (Ajay is a lawyer in that). But you have won your life. I am really proud of you"

He was bearing all the pains & troubles because of his loving wife. There is a saying "If someone really loves you, they will give priority to your happiness than their happiness". What Ajay Devgan does is exactly what was stated in that saying. Though he love Ish a lot he do not want to keep her if she is not happy. That is why he is trying to find & give her happiness. He thinks only about her happiness. Not about him. Untill the last moment what ever Ajay does Ish does not realize the value of it. But he does all without expecting a return for him.

One of the very difficult thing is letting to go the person whom we really love. But he is doing that. In that also the highlight is after marriage. He does not think about his future. He needs only his wife to be happy. He is trying to seek happiness on her.

Beauty....

Beauty is the first thing which can catch up a persons eye. When we see a beautiful thing we used to express it with several words such as "pretty, cute, beautiful, awesome, gorgeous" etc, etc...

Every individual like to be beautiful & all have their own beauty. Beauty can differ to person to person. It depends on the way how a person seeing it. Some times we used to like something because of the beauty & also if we like something that is always beautiful for us.

Most of time time we use to look the external beauty of the person. People get attracted towards the appearance. Rarely look in to inner beauty of the person. In the society there are lot of people who is not beauty by face. But they beautiful than some people who is beautiful only by looks.

A person who is beautiful by heart is thousand time better than a person who is only nice by looks. Beauty can shade away. But a pure heart will remain the same forever. Rarely can see people who has both.

Apart from appearance some of the beautiful things/persons which/whom i see;

• A helping heart
• Who can treat every one only with the category of "HUMAN", without separating by race, religion, cast, poor, status, etc..
• Who can appreciate & value even a minor thing.
• Who can see a beauty even in a rain drop.
• Trustworthiness & understanding.
• When the whole world misunderstands you & treating badly, a true loving & caring heart which can see your value & be with you.
• Who forgets the bitter memories or mistakes & value or remember the good things which received by him/her forever.

Likewise there are so many things which can be attracted from a person.

Who made this as a culture?

All the ethnicities have their own cultures.  Sinhalese have their own cultures & rituals. As well as Tamils have their own culture & rituals. Personally I have some contradictory thoughts with the tamil culture.

If you see most of the Tamils specially Hindus keep “pottu”, “flower”. That is some once wish if they like can keep or else no need. But some thinks married people they should keep “pottu” & always should wear “thaali” ( Thaali is sort of a necklace which is put by the groom to the bride on the time of wedding). If a person wishes they can wear those. But I cannot understand why some people forcing to do those kind of things. A respect or love towards the husband should come from the heart & not from this kind of external factors. Also some used to measure a married woman by pottu. Some thinks only a widow should be without pottu & thaali. All the married woman who is with husband should be with those always.

Same time in case a husband dies then they should get rid of all those pottu & thaali. As per that culture a widow should not be with pottu & thaali. They should be very charm. If husband dies obviously the wife will suffer a lot. I do not know with that suffering why they are making her by looks also sad. If a person who is be with all those as soon as she goes in front of the mirror without pottu & thaali it might make her more sad. Also it shows to everyone that she is a widow. If she keeps pottu & wears thaali the society will make thousands of stories about her. Most of the people specially the ladies they are scared of the society & the stories what they make. Because of that even if they like something they will sacrifice it on behalf of others. Rarely some ladies can see who don’t care about what society tells & who lives for their self.

Apart from all those, as a very bad thing what I see is if they have a ceremony or some kind of function they don’t take widows to front. Even if it’s a function of her own child the major part should be taken by a lady who is living with her husband. Not the widow. They think her as bad luck. If husband dies for some reason what can the wife do for it. How can it be her bad luck? Same time if wife dies they do not treat the husband in such a way. Mostly all the restriction is for the ladies.

Nowadays these kind of stupid cultures are bit reducing. But still there is lot of people who is practicing those, especially in rural areas & mostly in some parts of India. When this kind of things will change??????????

Am i a murderer ???

All the people who are non vegetarians are murderers in some way including me. if so i should be a very big murderer. Being non veg is not wrong. But many time i have thought when getting killed how much an animal should be suffering? An animal also a creature like us. When cutting it must be also having the same pain. If a small blade cut how much it is paining for us. So how much it must be paining for that animal. 

But When eating we (I) do not feel it. As i said many times i have thought how much it must be suffering. But while eating when seeing the taste all the thoughts gone. Its difficult to be a veg even for a day. When a bird or a animal is injured or if with some sick most of us will feel sad. Even if a small injured & when it is bleeding we feel sad a lot. sometimes i cry also. But cannot think a logic why that same feeling not coming when eating the same animal & also cutting with the purpose of eating. 

Just for an example if we keep a Hen at home as a pet even if it is bit injured we may feel sad. If some one ask to cut & eat we will never let to do. But same time we will eat chicken which has been cut by some one else some where. What to do.. that cannot be changed. Next time when eating i also forget what i said now & will nicely taste it & eat :( .

Thats how our same mind changing according to situations. Not only in this matter most of the time we do the same. If something for us we feel a lot. But for others we do not care.

I have never thought about plants. After reading the above post my friend is the person who send me the below link. according to that plans also have life & they also can suffer like as. It can be. coz all the things which have life have feelings too.

Should gay couples & Lesbians be given the same legal rights as heterosexuals even in adopting children? If someone ask that question from me my answer would be yes. It does not mean i am supporting gays or lesbians. But it is some once choice. As far as a person not harming another person i do not see an action as wrong. As we select our partner in opposite sex some have attraction towards the same sex. Again i am not telling it is good or it should be encouraged. But still whatever we tell or banned, who ever wanna be so any how they will be so.

If some one known to be a gay or lesbians in the society he/she will not treated in a nice way. All will be talking bad about them. This will tend them to have the relationship secretly. It is not going to stop such relationships. So i personally feel as humans they also should be given same rights as heterosexuals. 

I do not see any wrong in allowing them to adopt children. But only thing what i see is that child may face problems in the future. Of course the society do not treat that child as others kids. They will treat them also in a bad way as their parents. People might make fun out of that kid & it will mentally affect the children and the future. After that they may start to hate their parents too. There is a high possibility for this to be happen. 

But if we see the concept only with the gay & lesbian couple's view, it is not wrong. They also might have the same wills as others. Because of some reason they have attraction towards the same sex. In the society there are so many bad peoples who is harming others. But some of them also have a good status in the society. A good example is politicians. By comparing with that type of people we cannot blame the gay or lesbian couples in any matter. They also wanted to have a family life. Every once motive is same. only the difference is the attraction & their choice.

Sunday Mass

Today morning I went to church at kandy – Getambe parish. Today church celebrated the mothers day. That was happened in a very nice way.

The reason for me to write about it here is the end of the mass. At the end of the mass priest requested all the mothers to come to front-alter.  After that he requested the children’s to come and stand facing their mothers face. After that he wanted to tell the below verses by the children looking at the eyes of their mother & then to wish & worship them.

“Mother, you mean a lot to me. You were in all my happiness, sadness & pains. Thanks a lot for everything and I will be there for you always. I love u a lot mother”

Unfortunately I did not go with my mom today. So I was just looking at others. Though I did not go with my mom it was a very touching moment. There was tearing in both mother & children’s eyes.

Some can see this as a foolish thing & can ask what the purpose is. Mostly we all love & respect our mom. But we never express it directly. When we express so by looking at the eyes it might make a huge happiness to the mother. Mom does not expect any return for all what she does. But when we express our love & the value on her it may make her proud & happy. I saw that happiness in their faces. After those words many were crying by hugging their son/daughter.

Than un expressing love expressing love is better. Not only to mother to whoever we love it is better to express the love & value them at least once in a way. Also appreciating the good things which is done by others will tend to increase the bond & love much more.

பிரபு தேவா ஏற்கனவே திருமணமானவர் என்பதால் தான் இந்த காதலுக்கு இவ்வளவு எதிர்ப்பு. பத்திரிகைகள் மற்றும் ஏனைய அனைத்து ஊடகங்களும் அவர்களை திட்டித் தீர்கின்றன. அதிலும் நயன்தாரவிட்கு அதிகம். பெண்ணாக இருந்து கொண்டு இன்னொரு பெண்ணின் வாழ்கையை கெடுக்கிறார் என்பதே இந்த திட்டுபவர்களின் கருத்து.

யார் என்ன சொல்லி என்ன செய்வது? இத்தனை ஆண்கள் இருக்கும் போது பிரபுதேவாவிடம் தான் நயன்தாரவிட்கு காதல் வந்துள்ளது. (நிச்சயமாக அவனின் முகத்திற்காக இருக்க முடியாது. மனசுக்காகவாத் தான் இருக்கனும்). திருமணம் ஆனாலும் எதோ தன் மனைவியிடம் இல்லாத ஒன்று நயனிடமிருந்து அவனையும் ஈர்த்துவிட்டது போல. 

அவங்களுக்கே இதெல்லாம் பிரச்சினை இல்லாட்டி நாம ஏன் இதையெல்லாம் பெரிசு படுத்தணும். நம்ம ஆசிய சனம் தேவையான விடயங்களுக்கெல்லாம் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவிக்க மாட்டார்கள். இந்த அடுத்தவர்களின் சொந்த விடயங்களுக்கு தான் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவிப்பார்கள். 

யார் என்ன சொன்னாலும் காதல் யாருக்கு எப்போது யாருமேல் வரும் என்று யாராலும் சொல்ல முடியாது. இதை அழகாக காட்டிய ஒரு திரைப்படம் தான் கண்டேன் காதலை. 

ஒருவருக்கு நம்மை பிடிக்கவில்லை, இன்னொருவரை தான் பிடிக்கிறது என்று தெரிந்த பின்பும் அந்த நபரை நம்மிடமே வைத்துக்கொள்ள முயற்சிப்பதில் என்ன பயன்? நம்மிடம் இருந்தாலும் மனது வேறொருவரிடம் அல்லவா இருக்கிறது. என்னவோ சொல்லுவது  இலகு தான். அனால் இதை செய்வது கடினம். தெரியும்.

ஆனால் நம்மை வேண்டாம் என்று சொல்லிய ஒருவரை வற்புறுத்தி வைத்துக்கொள்ளுவதில் ஒரு பயனுமில்லை. இருவரும் சந்தோஷமாக இருக்க போவதில்லை. ஆகவே யாரவது ஒருவராவது சந்தோசமாக இருந்திட்டு போகட்டுமே!!!

Relationship between parents & Kids

Nowadays with the busy life people do not have a good communication even with their families. Parents busy with their work & children’s buys with their work.. school, tuition, then again study. After that with tired all go to sleep. Then again morning rush to work and school. This is the routine in most of the families.

I think Parents should be as friends with their kids. Then only their children’s do not feel any fear to share any matters. Too much freedom & too much restriction both can ruin the kids in the wrong path. But kids should be given freedom. If no freedom it will make them to lie & to find freedom anyhow.

For me than my all friends or any one normally I used to share everything with my mom & sister. Though I am away from them they know everything what I’m doing. For me my parents have given me all the freedom. No restrictions. Normally I do not be forced for anything. (This may be one of the main reason  I do not like that if any one force me to do anything.  Coz from small age I used to be free). By the same time they have a good trust on me.  Since they have given me all the freedom & no much restriction I never feel to lie my mother or break that trust what they have on me.

I believe that is a very good thing. This will make a person away from going in wrong path. Meantime there are people who misuse the freedom what they get. But most of the time if we feel a true love, care & trust on sometime we never feel to break that trust or hurt them. It will make us feel guilty even for a very small lie.

Happiness & sadness

Fundamental two feeling which all can experience from a kid to elder is happiness & sadness. We can never count how many times we were happy & how many times we were sad in our life time. Within a single day both feelings can rotate time to time.

If we see a small baby suddenly they will cry. As soon as we gave something to play or show something next second they will smile. We also do the same. But the difference is a small kid will show the sadness with tears always. As adults we always don’t show the sadness with tears. For both happiness & sadness sometimes we will respond with a smile. Only our own mind knew the feeling which we are at that particular moment.

The moments of sadness & happiness may differ to person to person. Something which makes me a smile can put a sad face on another. Each & every moments in life is like a toss. Always has both sides. If I get the head for the next person tail is sure. Both cannot have head. Similar to that when a person feeling happy, for the same reason next person can feel sad. A good example is a match. While the team which I support winning I will be happy. Same time someone else will be sad since that the team which he/she supported lost.

We can never say only a major thing can make happiness. Even a small thing can make happy & put a smile on our face. Sometimes it can be nature or a person. Early morning with the silence a sound of the bird can makes a person happy. A face of a person whom we like can makes happy.

Sometimes while we are being happy, on the next second a small word which comes from the other person can totally change our mood. Sometimes we feel happy or sad for no reason. I don’t know whether all feel that. But I do. Sometimes can feel sadness. But even I cannot figure it out what made me to be sad. Nothing would have happened. But just some minor thing will make to feel so. Those are not permanent sadness. Just for a small period.

Mostly we don’t feel anything or don’t show any reaction when a person whom we don’t like much or care tells something. But even a single word which comes from the once whom we really like & care can make a big change.  It can make us very happy, same time makes sad. Sometimes they would not have told anything about us. But still some matter can make us sad. I would say that is because we expect something from them.

Any way that is life. 

There is a saying “Mind is like a monkey”.  That is true. We cannot assure what time how the mind will be……. !

What makes a good relationship?

What is a relationship? A relationship is the interactions or bond between two or more people, things, animals or places. All the creatures have some kind of relationships. But all relationships cannot be a good one.  For a good relationship to exist there should be some characteristics.

These days breaking of relationships becoming an usual thing. Rarely can see people have true & understanding relationships. The main reason for it is less  bond between the people.

If we take a family there is no good relationships between father, mother & children. Same with friends, couples, colleagues, etc.  

What can break relationships?

• I would say the main reason is no proper understanding. People becoming selfish day by day. We forget to think about others & their feelings. Always trying to Influence on others, on behalf of our happiness & benefit. 

• As per me next major thing is, telling faults about one to another. Nobody is perfect & all are not same. All have their own likes and dislikes. But what people use to do is going and telling the faults about one person to another. This habit we can mainly see among friends. If there is three friends two used to talks about the faults & bad about the other friend when he/she not there.  Such things cannot happen between good friends. If anyone sees a wrong about a person they can tell directly to the relevant person. If they accept they will correct it. Somebody has told someday “if u wanna praise a person you can praise amount hundreds. But if you wanna tell a wrong or mistake about a person tell only to him/her”. What a good statement is that. This suits the management people @ offices as well. There are people who used to scold in front of all. But they will never tell good about a person whatever they do. Even if they tell it will come in a mail with just one word “good work”.  Some thinking scolding in front of all can increase their reputation. They do not think how it will make others feel & hurt.

• No patience & quick anger – There should be patience. One word which comes out from the mouth with anger can ruin the lifetime relationship.

• Cheating – There are so many cheaters in the society. If someone trust us fully & if we break their trust in any way it’s obvious that they cannot trust us as previous.

• Fake behaviors – There are people who used to tell what they don’t have as they have, bluffing & lies.

Likewise so many activities can break a relationship. What ever happen in this world always there will be good relationships & good people. But one of the very difficult thing is identifying those good people among bad!!!

Generally if we see killing is a bad thing & a big sin. But if we go through the depth of mercy killing cannot see a bad in that. It is a good thing. Mercy killing does not mean all the people who are ill should be killed or all the ill people who wish die should be killed.

This can be accepted under few circumstances.

•   All possible ways to avoid the pain & to cure the illness have been attempted but are useless.       
• The patient really cannot handle the pain & suffering.   
•  The patient is near his/her death or end.  
• The patient has unendurable pain.
• Than all with the CONSENT of the patient.

When we see a person who suffers a lot when all the medicines are not worked, we used to say it’s better to die than suffering. That time we use the word die not because of angry with that person. That is indeed because of the sympathy we have on them & we cannot see the way they suffer.  In that case I think mercy killing should be acceptable.

No one will like to see the death of their loving people even though they suffer. But only a person who is undergoing a severe pain will understand the suffering. Can see some patients screaming as that they want to die because of the undergoing suffering. Though it is very sad & hurtful it is better to legalize mercy killing in that type of circumstances.

We do not want to see our loved once death. It is reallyyyyyyyyyy hurtful. But the same time we cannot see when our loved once suffering. It’s more painful than dying. The patient might be suffering with body pain. Same time there family & the beloved will be suffering by looking at the way they suffer.

I am sure whoever accepts it, in Asians countries this will not be legalized in the near future. It might happen one day. But after so many years. Though there are so many murders happening in Asians countries I don’t think they will accept mercy killing. Our people are good in killing a living person in various ways. But they will never accept mercy killing kind of matters.

Why do we go so far for mercy killing…. These are the people who tells should not kill mosquitoes though they kill a person while they are living!!!

Silent Killers

There is a common saying all the five fingers in hand are not same. Likewise all the people are not same. Everyone is different from other. Some used to keep very quiet. Some talks a lot. Another few talks all the wanted, unwanted & whatever comes to their mind.  Which type of people more trustable? My person opinion & experience is people who talk anything frankly are more trustable than the people who keep quiet.

Some people seem to be very quiet & innocent. But mostly that sort of people are the one who is very cunning in their mind. They notice everything & keep quiet. Mostly the people who talks lot & talk anything frankly don’t keep anything mind. Just put things out & clean in mind. Can trust that type of behaviors.

Also I have noticed one more thing from the people who keeps very quiet. If they get close to someone mostly they try to influence on them a lot. They wanted them to be listen always.  Trying to influence most of the other person’s activities. It might annoy the other. But they don’t understand it.

Just for a note: All the silent people are not bad. There are really innocent people too. Same way all the frank people are not good. Just the majority & what I felt from the people whom I met so far.

நம்மில் பலர் தீவிர கடவுள் பக்தர்கள் (???). ஆனால் மனது முழுக்க பொறமை, கோபம், சுயநலம், வேற்றுமை..... ஆலயம் சென்று ஆயிரக்கணக்கில் காணிக்கை செலுத்துபவர்கள் அயலவனின் பசியைப் போக்க அதில் ஒரு சதவீதமாவது செலவிட மாட்டார்கள். இதனால் என்ன பயன்? இப்படியானவர்களுக்கு உண்மையிலேயே கடவுள் அருள் உண்டா?

தூய அன்பு கொண்டு, தவறுகளை உணர்ந்து வாழும் ஒவ்வொரு மனிதன் நெஞ்சிலும் கடவுள் வீற்றிருக்கிறார். கடவுளைத்  தேடி ஆலயம் செல்கிறோம். ஆனால் நம் பக்கத்திலிருக்கும் மனிதன் நெஞ்சில் வாழும் கடவுளை நாம் காண்கிறோமா?? அன்புக்கு உருவமில்லை. அதேபோல் கடவுளும் எந்த உருவத்திலும் வரலாம். அம்மாவை தெய்வத்தின் மறு உருவமாக தரிசிப்போர் பலர். அது ஏன்? அந்த தாயின் அன்பு, அரவணைப்பு, பாசம் எல்லாம் ஒன்றாக பின்னிப் பிணைந்து தாயை கடவுளாக எண்ண வைக்கின்றது.

If we do not like something to happen for us or if it is hurting why cant we think it will be same for others also. Mostly every one used to say i do not like if any one telling bad about me when i am not there. but from those who tells so, how many are practicing it??? specially @ offices can see this type of cheap behaviors. within the same crew people used to talk bad about others as soon as a person away from the seat. 

We all are humans & all have the same feelings. no one is iron. All feel the happiness, sadness. Whats the use in being happy by putting another one down??? Any way we cannot point & tells a person be like this, do this & do not do this... those should come from the bottom of the heart. A person should feel & do. Not coz of others saying or forcing. 

Most of the time our people do not tell good or do nice things to others. But when a person dies people do not talk much bad things. At that time only they talk all the good, fake tears & every thing. Any way in the future this type of behaviors will increase. I do no think it will be reduce. 

Only thing what we can do is being good. Though others doing bad  & cheating us we also do not need to do the same. One day people will realize the truth!!!

Choice

All the creatures have choices in life. All the things we do are depend on a choice. We have got a life. By knowingly or unknowingly we all make it our life according to our choice. I can say all our life is filled with choices. Sometimes we have to do few things for someone else. That can be our parents/siblings/ spouse/ friends whoever. In that case still someone else choice has an influence on us & us also willingly or unwillingly accepting that choice.

From birth to death all happening according to a choice. When the time mother gives birth to a child and till die its same. As soon as a kid born why before itself parents deciding this is how I’m going to look after my kid, this is how kid has to grow, etc… after that deciding where to educate the kid. This all depends on the parent’s choice. 

When the child starts to grow up gradually it starts to make their own choice. Food wise, dress wise, when selecting friends, etc.

After grown up for a certain age we use to make our own choices most of the time. Even if we take a classroom all are not friend for an individual. One person’s good friend may be a hated person for another. There we select our own friends according to our choice. Then selecting which stream we are going to continue our higher studies or job or whatever. This is another choice what we make. After that some used to select their life partner. This is another choice. According the particular choice he/she may selecting their life partner. Some waiting till the parents arrange a marriage & give. That’s their choice. Some of others think we shouldn’t marry & we have to be single forever. That’s their choice.

Likewise after that also all depends on our choice only. I may not like another once life’s style. But I cannot say anything for it. Because the way I am living is my choice & it can be his/her choice. 

Few examples for choice. 

• In a table we have variety of foods. I pick up one & eat. My next person may take another variety. It’s his/her choice. 
• I am receiving a call or a text. It’s my choice to answer or reply. 
• There can be a gang of friends who takes drinks. In that there can be one or two teetotalers. That’s their choice to drink or not. 

Likewise our whole life depends on our choice. But do people accept it in all cases…..???

Most of the times when the individual’s choice faces a problem or when it goes wrong most of the people try to pass the ball to the other. We can get so many reasons in such cases. For example… coz of this person only I did so, they forced me to do so, since other person will think bad or get hurt I did so, if I do so other person may think bad… etc… In that case the best option is before selecting your choice consider about all matters and make the choice.

Do those are the real reasons?? Yes in some cases there are few unavoidable things can happen. But most of the times, to not get blames people develop a reason. It’s your own choice. So good or bad at last have to accept what you did. If it’s wrong you can correct it in the future. If you have forced to do something and when it goes wrong you can point at the other. 

But in real most of the people they make their own choice & when it goes wrong only pointing the other. If good happens they like to propagate about it. 

Always we cannot say our choice will be accurate. As humans all go wrong one day. No one is perfect. But what you have to do is accept the truth and learn from the mistakes. That will help for a better future.

Abortion is illegal or can be legalized.

 I cannot say abortion is a good unless if you found out the baby is disable or with some problems. It’s a sort of killing. But on the other way do a person don’t have the right to do an abortion if she don’t want the baby @ that time. Anyone can ask me, If they don’t want a baby @ that time why they did not think about it befor…. true.. But there can be unavoidable situations can happen. Most of the times people used to think after something taken place only. 

In that case if they really don’t want the baby it’s better to do a abortion. Even though now abortion is illegal we cannot ever say there are no abortions taking places. In every where there are lots of abortions happening. Since it’s not illegal people used to go to untrustworthy person to do it. There is a risk for the mother’s life as well. 

If it is legalized they don’t want to go for the untrustworthy persons. Can go to a qualified doctor. Then the mother also safe. When they go to a doctor he/she can advice them not to do so if there is a real reason. Some people can change their mind & listen. But can’t say all will respect the advice. 

If a lady gives birth to a kid without willingly, what’s the assurance that she will look after the baby properly. Nowadays how many mothers killing their own kids & just throwing their own kid in the road as a garbage………When we listen to the news we can hear plenty of incident like that. All because they don’t like their kid & they don’t want it. In that case the kid also has to suffer. Than that it better to do abortion legally. Then less risk for mother & just a kid also no need to suffer. 

Even though it’s illegal the people who want to do an abortion any how they will do it. Than that it’s better to legalize. Then @least can minimize the risk level of the mother’s life & the left out kid’s level

Why people get angry? I really don’t like when people gets angry without a proper reason. Even though if a major problem there are many ways to solve it in a proper way. But why people can’t understand it & just shouting. If he/she behaves so, the good impression which other person had on he/ she only will be vanished. I hate to talk to such people. 

Once I read it in a mail “anger is a situation where the tongue works faster than the mind/brain”

It’s very true. Why can’t just think the consequence before doing anything. Coz of this anger an individual can loose so many things. When we realize the truth all would have been happened. So it’s better to think twice. But how many of us are doing so…………………….????

There are so many ways to reduce the anger

 Think about god.

 Can keep quiet. Silence can make a big difference.

 Think of the person whom you love most.

 Can whisper something which can make you to cool down.

 Meditation.

 Can count A-Z., etc, etc….

If a person used to practice a method to reduce the angry nothing is impossible. 

World is so developed, globalised. People always used to make innovative ideas, thinking about the individual growth, going beyond money. But how many of us are thinking to reduce our own faults. In a society people always used to find others mistake. But how many of them thinking about their own faults…. mistakes….weaknesses

Even though the world is so developed & people have a good knowledge, how many of them act according to their conscience……….. Society is filled up with anger, ego, selfishness, etc

Before trying to achieve things for their growth if every individual can spend some time to think & get rid of their own faults & weaknesses, this world will be nicer. Everywhere can see the peace.

This has to start from every family. Parents should be an example to their kids. But how many parents are being so…if they fight or scold each other in front of the kid he/she also will be used to that only. Then from his/her society they also will tend to behave in such a way.

Auspicious Time

Most of the Sri Lankans have faith on this auspicious time. When we take the new year, on that day most of the activities are done according to the auspicious time. Not only on the new year day; there are many things mostly happen according to the auspicious time. such as moving to a new house, keeping name for babies, wedding etc, etc.

How far we can keep faith on this auspicious time??? what’s the proof that all will happen good if we start or do with this auspicious time??? For example when come to a marriage most of the Sri Lankan parents looking for brides & grooms horoscope for match making. After if horoscope is fine then the auspicious time for wedding. But all the marriage which happening so do succeeds??? How many people living happily without looking non of them.

According to me all depends on our mind set. If we believe on these auspicious time & say if something happens just… we itself have a inner feeling of badness. We may think this may go wrong or it won’t happen properly. We may think if we didn’t do this on the auspicious time this will not happen good. That inner feeling itself can make the incident to turn in a negative way.

Every day is good. Every time is good. There is nothing good or bad on not. All rely on our thinking and mind set only. Why to separate the time as good or bad???? Is time can do anything. Time not managing the person. Its just fixed. People only managing the time. Likewise within the society people itself created an auspicious time. 

There is one world. Same 365 days per year. same 7 days per week. Same 24 hours per day. But people to people how we differentiate this timing & days. some used to think its not good to start something on the particular day. for another it may be the auspicious time.

If we look @ in one sight all the time is same. According to me good or bad whatever… it depends on our mind set & our behavior only. Is anything happen negatively we have to think for a alternative & have to find the ways to correct it without putting the blame on the time or day.

Love the person as the way they are

As humans we all have experienced love. As kids first we love our parents, then sibling, friends, spouse, etc. When we say love mostly we talk about the love between opposite sex.

Love can start from first sight or after few days of association or after few years. Love starts coz of some attraction on the other person. Some people attracted towards the appearance, beauty… some for the habit… heart…. Talks….. etc, etc… Since we like something on the opposite party we start to love them.

But how many of them love the person as the way they are. Mostly they attracted towards something & start to love by thinking can change the rest. Is that correct?
For example one falls in love with other coz of the appearance. Say if he/she didn’t like their dress code or hairstyle. So forcing the other to be for their choice. I am not saying we never have to say anything. If anything wrong or bad always can say & correct it. But mostly people tend to change even a good thing according to their choice.

Say if two religious people start to love. First they will be okay. But when the time comes to marriage some people wants the other to convert even though the other party is not willing. Is it ethically correct???

I think a person should love the other person as the way they are. Not few things. If we start to love few things of a person that love won’t be so success. Because of the love other party may willing to change their self. But is that the best thing?

IT’S BETTER TO FIND A PERSON WHOM WE LIKE AS THE WAY WE WANT THAN TENDING TO CHANGE A PERSON ACCORDING TO OUR CHOICE.

If we Just read, this is just a quote. But this consists a very good reality & a meaning. I am sure every one of us experienced this in life. This can be with friends, parents, girlfriend/boyfriend, spouse or even with a nature. Most of the times when we are together we do not realize or feel the value of anything. After leaving only we start to miss more.

I have experienced this many time & also i am sure even in the future i will. If we really fond of something or if we love a person, anyone will like to be surrounding it/him/her. But in life it is not possible & also mostly we don't get what we really want. Just for an example if we take friends, mostly of the time might to leave good friends soon for some reason. all the cheating & cunning people only will be surrounding forever.

If i asked i am sure most of the people will tell mostly they miss their school life. 99% of the people miss their school life. ( i don't know coz of what reason why i am not in to that 99 %. Still i can remember almost every one was crying on the last day of school & i was happy thinking no need to go to school any more ). 

Each & every single creature have their own happiness & sadness. We used to share our happiness & sadness with someone whom we close. But mostly every Human might have some secret feeling inside their heart without disclosing to anyone. It can only be a sweet or a bitter memory to that particular individual. 

Some people very hardly disclose both the happiness & sadness. They like to enjoy or suffer on their own. Some they disclose both the feeling. 

In my case if i feel happy i used to tell whom i share normally my matters or to the relevant person whom made me happy. But i used to share very hardly the sadness. Most of the times i used to keep the sadness with me. Personally i feel in some cases if u try to share the sadness it will give u more suffering. when a person asked about it i feel more sad. Also a person who really understood about us will easily identify if  we are in sad or upset. Any way those feeling varies person to person. some they do feel relieve when they put of all their worries.

Good or bad only the memories will last forever with us & no one can rule over on our memories.

நிறைய சந்தர்பங்களில் நானும் என்ன வாழ்க்கை டா இது என்று யோசித்ததுண்டு. ஒரு சின்ன விஷயத்திற்கும் கவலை படும் சுபாவம் எனக்கு உண்டு. ஆனால் கொஞ்சம் நேரத்தில் மீண்டும் சரி ஆகி விடுவேன். அதையே நாள் கணக்கு நினைத்துக்கொண்டு  இருப்பதில்லை. ஆனால் வாழ்கையில் ஒரு சிலவற்றை மறக்க முடியாது. எல்லோர் வாழ்கையிலும் எதோ ஒரு பசுமையான நினைவுகள் இருக்கத்தான் செய்யும். சிலர் அதையே நினைத்துகொண்டு எதிர்காலத்தையும்  வீணடித்துவிடுவார்கள்.

வாழ்கையில் நாம் சிலவற்றை புரிந்து கொள்ளுவது இல்லை. புரிந்து கொள்ள முயற்சிப்பதும் இல்லை. அதிக நேரங்களில் செய்வது கிடைக்காத ஒன்றை தேடி உள்ளதையும் கோட்டை விடுவது. நம்மை தேடி வருவதை / வருபவர்களை நாம் புரிந்து கொள்ளுவது இல்லை. நாம் தேடி போவதை /  போறவர்களை அவர்கள் புரிந்து கொள்ளுவது இல்லை. சில நேரங்களில் நாம்  நல்லவர்கள் என்று நினைத்து நம்புபவர்கள் தான் வினையாக வருபவர்கள். சரியில்லை என்று நினைத்து பழகுபவர்கள் தான் விசுவாசமானவர்கள். இது தான் வாழ்கையின் நியதியா??

அடுத்தவர்கள்  என்ன நினைப்பார்கள், இப்படி சொல்லுகிறார்களே, நம்மை பற்றி தப்பாக நினைப்பார்களோ என்றெல்லாம் எண்ணாமல் நமக்கு சரியென பட்டதை (மற்றவர்களை நோகடிக்காது, மன சாட்சிக்கு உகந்த வகையில்) செய்து மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருப்பது தான் சிறந்த வழி.

பிறப்பு எம் கையில் இல்லை. ஆனால் பிறப்புடன் கிடைத்த வாழ்க்கை நம்  கையில். அதை மகிழ்சிகரமாக மாற்றிக்கொள்ளுவதும், சோகமயமாக அமைத்துக்கொள்ளுவதும் நம்  கையில் தான் உண்டு.

நானும் நீயும்

என் கண்ணில் சோகமா இல்லை கோபமா இல்லை ஏக்கமா......

எனக்கே புரியவில்லை ...

நீயில்லாத சோகமும், என் மேலே எனக்குள்ள கோபமும் இந்த உலகத்தையே பறிகொடுத்துவிட்ட எதோ ஒரு ஏக்கமும் சேர்ந்து என்னை வாட்டுகிறது.....

யாரோ ஒருவன் சொன்னான் இசை மனதை எளிதாக்கும் என்று.....

ஆனால் பெண்ணே எதை கையில் எடுத்தாலும் உன் வசந்த கால நினைவுகள் என்னை எங்கோ கொண்டு சென்று விடுகின்றன.....

என் கையில் இருப்பது வீணையா இல்லை உன் விரல்களா... 

இசை மீட்ட உன் விரல்களை தா பெண்ணே ....
