Facebook (FB)

Nowadays Facebook is one of the most popular social network & most popular word among youngsters. Like phone number nowadays one of the most common question which is asked when people are meeting is, "do u have a Facebook account?". From small to elder mostly all tends to create an account in FB. Though their is a age restriction as above 18, actually there is no use in that. All the people who are below 18 they create their account with a fake date of birth. 

As in everything in FB also there are advantages & disadvantages. 

As main advantages we can list the below,

• It helps to connect with the people who lost touch & with the old pals.
• To share photos & to chat with all the loved once who are near by as well as far away.
• At times, to share the thoughts & to share opinions.
• An Entertainment (But nowadays beyond the entertainment mostly all of us have become addicted for it)
• Also can tell as a cost effective way of communication, especially to communicate with the people who are in abroad.With the globalization all of us used to spend more time with computers & internet.Comparing with before at present chatting, mailing, etc are most popular than phone calls & text. This helps to keep a good interconnection between our loved once especially who are faraway. Via FB easily can share all the photo albums & the comments.

Likewise we can tell much more advantages. Also as major disadvantages can classify below,

• FB is a main way to grow the relationship with unknown & known people. At times it can be an advantage. But i think mainly as a disadvantage. Some used to add all the unknown people and sometimes we add people whom we know but who are not close or not good friends. FB is a way of chat & to get to know more about them. It will start with sharing the personal details & mostly will end up in the direct meet. There are so many love affairs too, which is started in this way. Most of the times these things can cause unwanted problems than the good in it.
• FB we can say it as a hobby or a way of entertainment. But nowadays this has become an essential thing in our day to day life. People have become addicted for it. For some FB is like a food. The way how food is important to live, FB is also important. 
• Mostly all used to share photo albums in FB. In a way this a bit dangerous & insecure. Though we have made privacy settings, a person can access & take the photos through a another persons account. This is help to misuse the photos. 

Likewise can list down much more advantages & disadvantages of FB. Another main thing which i noticed with some people is, If we continuously read their status we can get to know their whole life. It is like a live telecast. From bathing  to sleeping every thing will be updated including the personal problems. I have no idea what to call for this & also have a very big question why they want to share all their personals with all the people, specially problems. May be they might feel a relieve like talking with someone. 

Nothing is bad if we used it with a limit in an appropriate way.  I think FB is good way to keep in touch with known people & always it is better not to add unknown people. Specially chatting with unknown & less known people & sharing the personal things may cause serious problems in the future. So always it is better to  make a limit & a control when using the social networks.

Everyone in life is gonna hurt you, you just have to figure out which people are worth the pain.

This one of the saying which i like most. The reason for it is, this is very true & a realistic one. I am sure every one in this life going to hurt others in some way. Most of the time by knowingly & sometimes unknowingly. Some people they do get hurt even for a small thing(Including me) & some are not like that. 

We mostly get hurt when a person whom we like a lot, care about & trust do something or say something. We cannot assure all the people who we like, care & trust have the same feeling on us. For them we may be just another.

So always it better to find out which people are worth the pain & better not to bother about others even if we like them.

Trust takes years to build, seconds to break, forever to repair...

Trust is one of the most precious word. Everybody live their life based on some trust. No one is living without hopes. Trust is very important in all the relationships. Love is also based on trust.

When a person says trust me, we are not going to trust that person. Trust is totally based on the activities & behaviors of the other person. we build trust on them based on that. As soon as we see a person we cannot trust. We can talk to anyone. I do not see any wrong in talking to people. Because a person who is bad for others can be good for us. If we talk & associate only we will know the real picture of the person. But Always better to keep a limit with whoever we fail to build trust. 

Trust is based on expectations. We do not expect things from all. But if we trust a person we will expect something from them. Thats is what you called trust. When a situation comes, we itself think based on the trust what we built, this person will do so & so. If the person whom we trusted failed to react so, that hurts a lot. 

The trust which we built for a long time can be break by a single word or a small activity. Always we cannot say wrong also. Because all the people are not same & the likes & dislikes are differs to person to person. Since that we forgive them. But i do not think a broken trust can be get it back again on the same way. If a person breaks the trust once then we are not going to trust them in the future as the way we did before. It takes forever to repair. Broken trust creates an incurable wound in the heart!

Visit to an Elders Home

Today i went for an elders home @ Modara which is "Shanthi Nivasa". This has done by Missionaries of charity.

As i say always my favorite personality & most beloved woman in this world is Mother Theresa. Once @ university while we were talking, just we were telling about the woman whom we adore most. Mostly all said their mother. I said Mother Theresa. Then one person told me "this is bad, no one can be as our mother". All our mothers love & really care about us. They are willing do or sacrifice anything on behalf of their children. Thats is the nature of mother. 

But It is not easy to be like Mother Theresa. I would say she is the mother for the whole world. She became a shadow to thousands of abandoned. She sacrificed her whole life on behalf of the poor, abandoned & needy people.  

Though she is physically not alive in this world, the service which she created will be there forever. The place which i visited today also an effort by her. 

There are around 100 elderly people are there in the house. Mostly all of them are like kids. They need the attention in all their activities. Only 4 sisters are there to look after every one. They used to do everything for those needy people such as washing, shaving, cutting the hair, etc.. We should really appreciate those sisters & their service. A good example for the living god. 

All the credits for these service should goes to Mother Theresa who is the Initiator of this Missionaries of Charity. Than going for parties, trips or anything this kind of activities gives a real happiness.

Today visit was planned to go by myself and a friend of mine. Due an unavoidable reason @last it ended up going with another good friend of mine. This is the first time we went alone some where. It was happy to go alone with such a person to a such place for the first time.

A good friend can be a good Husband.

Friendship has no gender. It can be born between any one.  Nowadays friendship between opposite sex is a common thing. On the same time we do see some of such friendships turn in to Love after sometime.

I thought to write of this after seeing a debate topic in a paper “whether friendship turning into Love is good or bad”. In that Debate some has argued friendship cannot be turned into love. If it turns so it is like cheating the friendship & no real friendship in that. The people who have positively argued has wrote that, it is a good thing & if we marry a good friend there will be a good understanding between them & can have a happy life.

I do not think friendship turning into love as bad. Love can occur at anytime with anyone. We cannot limit it only with a group. Some goes for peoples look. But real love will not occur because of the looks. Real love is for the persons some qualities, attitudes, behaviors, etc. It needs only a good & a pure heart. Not a cute face.

 

But always cannot agree with the point a good friend can be a good husband. There can be lot of good friends in opposite sex. But that does not mean we will like to marry all the good friends. Some are really good for friendships. But we know that person does not suit as a life partner. It is true that a good friend have a good understanding. But cannot assure from all that they will remain the same in the future as well. Also it does not mean that we like everything from a good friend. To be a life partner there should be a special attraction more than a friend. Some of their qualities or talks or the way they are really should get attracted towards the other.

In my point of view always cannot agree with the saying “A good friend can be a good husband.” But rather I would say “A Good Husband Can be a Good Friend”.
